To the people that have expressed how much they have enjoyed my work:

First I would like to thank all my watchers, the very kind people that selected one of my images as a favourites and anyone that has taken the time to comment on my work.

I really appreciate you taking the time to view my gallery, and have learned a lot in a short amount of time with the help of your feedback.

Currently I work about 13 hours a day, 5 days a week outside of my photography and other artist expressions, so please accept my apology for not always being able to thank you when you have added one of my images to your favourites or when you have taken the time to write a comment.

I try to answer all questions that appear in the comments section of my artwork.

About my artwork:

I use a FinePix S602 ZOOM and a Canon 30D to take most of my photographs.

I often crop or otherwise alter my photographs, but do not usually push the alterations beyond what I could do in a darkroom using black and white film development. When I do, I go way past.

My three favorite tools are: My camera, GIMP, Photoshop and Picasa3.

About my favourites:

Even though I lead a very hectic life I try to review a couple of hundred pieces of art from this website a day from the people I watch, people that have added comments to my artwork, people that have added some of my work to their favourites and from the new submissions to the deviantART.com.

If I have added you to my watch list or have added one of your images to my favourites it is because I truly enjoyed your work. Thank you for producing such wonderful images, your artwork has added a great deal of joy, intellectual stimulation and creative inspiration to my life and work.

I pick my favourites based on only a number of factors:

Personal Taste. Do I like the image? Even if an image has technical flaws, I will add it to my favourites if I enjoy looking at it.

Technical perfection. If a photograph has caught my eye and it has no technical flaws, I will add it to my favourites.

Unusual or extremely creative concept. Even if an image has technical flaws, I will add it to my favourites if the concept is great.

Expression of a point of view. If the image shows me the world in a way I have not seen it before and it has only minor technical flaws, I will add it to my favourites. NOTE: Even if the point of view is one I do not personally share or agree with, I will still add it to my favourites.

The subject. Sometimes I just really like the subject in the photograph. If the subject of the photograph is unusual and interesting to me, I will add it to my favourites.
